Greetings! My name is Ken and I am the salon owner and operator.

 

I orchestrate every aspect of the salon from the 1,000 foot view. 

 

I am a graduate of Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University. My long time career in consulting translates perfectly in making sure Pop Lash Beauty Lounge is successful.

I love spending time with my family, playing pickle ball and watching my hometown team, University of Alabama, play college football.

​

Although I mostly stay behind the scenes, I will pop in from time to time.

Most of you know me as Di. Ken is my husband and I help him manage the salon from a day to day perspective.

 

I am a part time lash artist. My full time job is being a mom of three incredible children that keep me busy.

 

While I love lashes, my main passion is to help others feel empowered to be their personal best. Clients often need a listening ear and a little encouragement. Team members need a safe, supportive, positive environment to grow in their craft. Helping others is what keeps me motivated.

I am also a mental health advocate in Howard County. I volunteer regularly with NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) Howard County and am a 988 Crisis Line Community Ambassador. It is just another way I exercise my passion to help others.

My name is Valerie, but most know me as Val!

I’m a Certified Lash Technician currently located in Columbia ,MD.

I started lashing in 2019. After having my daughter a year prior and experiencing minor post partum
depression, I began to look for things that would help me get out of that “funk” and make me gain the
self confidence I once had.

 

After having lash extensions applied I decided to take a course so that I could also give that confidence to women. After becoming Certified at LASH.ME.DARA in Connecticut, I have been doing so ever since.

 

As a Certified Lash Technician I guarantee the highest level of technical and artistic skills. I will provide each and every client with the highest quality product available to me.

Hi, I’m Morgan!

 

I’m a Licensed Esthetician but specializing in Waxing.

 

 

I started practicing waxing for fun during covid in 2020, once covid lifted I went to Aveda Institute of MD to complete the Esthetician program and finished in 4 months. During school and after I learned that waxing is very therapeutic and keeps me in my “zone”.

 

As an Esthetician/Waxer my goal is to make sure every client is comfortable as well as satisfied and wants to return, I also love the little therapy sessions my clients and I have. I always look forward to seeing my clients for this very reason. 

Hi! I am Alexis.

I am a full time college student soon to graduate in December 2023. I started out as a customer relationship manager answering the phones. Now I handle special projects for Pop Lash Beauty Lounge, most of which focus on Pop Lash Training Academy.

 

My background is in Finance. I hope to be able to use my expertise to assist the salon there as well.

 

I work on an ad-hoc bases as needs arise but am still very much a part of the team. Catch me at salon events or when the salon has opportunity to be a vendor at other engagements.
